Carers Gloucestershire are offering Parent Carers FREE training on a first come first served basis on the following sessions:
- Social Networking Training on Thursday 9th June, 10am- 12noon at Carers Gloucestershire with Kellie Beresford, Communications Expert covering the basics of Facebook, Twitter and security in relation to child protection.
- Assertiveness, representation and advocacy training on Wednesday July 20th, 10am-2pm at Carers Gloucestershire with Caroline Tomlinson from In Control. The training covers working in partnership, building alliances, creating an effective voice for families and working together to influence change.
- Advocacy at Transition training on Friday 23rd September, 10am – 2pm at Carers Gloucestershire with Action for Advocacy. This training looks at advocacy skills (and awareness of referral to independent advoacy) so that children are heard in transition to Adult services.
