Libra Television has been commissioned by BBC learning to make a series of short films about disabled children who are supported in mainstream school.  Each programme will be approximately 5 minutes long, flmed from the point of view of the disabled child and will be show to children in schools as part of their PSHE lessons.

The series consists of 10 programmes , each one featuring the story of one child with a disability.   The children need to be aged between 7-11 and in mainstream school.  Filming should only last about 2 days in total and will be worked around the needs of the child.  The programmes need to be filmed by Christmas, so they are hoping to find families and schools as soon as possible and to  start filming any time in the next few weeks (mid Novmeber to Mid December).  If you, or anyone you know would be interested in taking part, please contact Julia Berg, Libra Television on 0161 713 3663 or email juliaberg@libratelevision.com
