They are all being held in the Moreton Area Centre in Moreton 10 -
12.30 am. Help is available for replacement care and
transport.

This is a great way to meet other parents and talk about issues
which are affecting you. Don't worry if you cannot make all the
sessions, it is not a problem

THEY COULD NOT ATTEND THE COURSE AS IT IS NORMALLY RUN IN
CHELTENHAM OR GLOUCESTER
Challenging
Behaviour training.
This is aimed at carers of children and adults with learning
difficulties who exhibit behaviour that challenges. It is a two day
workshop in Northleach's Westwood Centre 8th April 2015 and 13 May
2015.

The Friday
Club
A playgroup for families with a tot (birth to five-year-olds) who
has a hearing impairment and/or speech and language delaysr speech
and language delay. Siblings and other children are also welcome.
The Friday Club is held every Friday (including school holidays) at
Jubilee Lodge, Meadow Way (next to Collett Ford),
Bourton-on-the-Water between 10am-12noon. Please come along and
join us for a morning of play, arts and crafts, special events and
song time every week. Meet other mums in the area, enjoy home made
cakes, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. We charge £2 per family to
cover the cost of hiring the venue. There is plenty of free parking
and undercover pram parking available. Siblings and other children
are also welcome.

Dyslexia Centre
Professional led support group meeting 23rd January 12.30 - 1.30pm
The first meeting will focus on the SEN Reform and how you can get
the most for your child with dyslexia at school.

Kids in
the Middle
This is a great exhibition held in the Ricoh Arena, Coventry and
covers anything you can imagine to do with children with additional
needs. Stalls represent charities, supplies of equipment including
sensory equipment, colleges etc. They also have seminars too.
This year's date is 19th March.
Cheltenham
Autism Support - Rainbow Days
Cheltenham Autism Support - Rainbow Days is a free group that
welcomes any parents / carers and siblings of children who have
been diagnosed or have strongly suspected Autism Spectrum
Disorders.
This independent group meets at Gardners Lane Children's Centre
every Thursday, during term time 3:30-5:15pm, and every Wednesday
during school holidays 9:30-12.30pm.
They also meet on alternate Saturdays 1:00-5:00pm at Gardners Lane
Children's Centre, and one Sunday per month at Hop, Skip and
Jump, Cheltenham from 10:00-1:00pm. Weekend sessions are subject to
change - please keep in contact via the Facebook page or email to
be updated regularly regarding session times.
Sessions all consist of indoor soft play areas, sensory rooms,
indoor play areas and outdoor play areas, as well as arts and
crafts activities, and snacks and refreshments for children and
adults.

Snoezey
Sundays
Worcester Snoezelen, 3 Turnpike Close, Worcester is open on
alternate Sundays for families to turn up and enjoy the
amazing sensory activities.

Powerchair
Football
Leisure@Cheltenham GL50 4RN. A great new club started to
enable children and young adults to try powerchair football.
Powerchairs are fitted with bumpers and special 18" balls are
used on a basketball court.
The club meets on alternate Sundays and have five specially
modified chairs which participants take turns in using.
Training is based on ability and tailored to individual needs.

Looks great fun as I popped in at the beginning of January to
watch, a very friendly club.
