Two exciting Residential events for disabled teenagers in February half term and Easter Holidays 2014!

Explore – earth, wind, fire and water – with St Roses’s School – Come and join us on a journey of the senses as we experience the elements together.  Activities will include swimming, trampolining/rebound therapy, cooking over a fire pit, kite flying and a visit to the Bristol Aquarium.  If this sounds intriguing then join us for two days of fun and adventure.

Where?            St Rose’s School, Stroud

When?             Tuesday 18th – Thursday 20th February 2014

What time?  11am Tuesday – 11am Thursday

What will it cost and who can take part?  – This residential activity will cost £300 for children using a Personal Budget and £100 for other disabled children.   It is open to disabled and non-disabled young people aged 13-17.  The target group is those who have complex physical impairments.  We may also be able to welcome young people with other conditions whose needs are compatible with the target group.

Well-being Weekend with Jamboree – Come along and pamper yourself on a well-being weekend where you will take part in fitness, health and well-being activities for ‘mind, body and soul’.  Dance with friends to Zumba rhythms.  Relax and stretch through a yoga session.  Come outside in the countryside to chat, have fun and connect with nature.  Try colour therapy so you can wear colour with confidence.  Learn about how to make healthy food and finally ….relax and rest with a movie night, games and home-made popcorn.

What time?   10am Saturday – 10am Monday 

What will it cost and who can take part? – This residential activity will cost £300 for children using a Personal Budget and £100 for other disabled children.  It is open to disabled and non-disabled young people aged 12-17.  Many of the activities will include a degree of physical movement adapted to meet the needs of people with a range of impairments.
