Boccia England have teamed up with the Youth Sport Trust to run a National Young Coaches Academy for 10 Young Boccia Coaches (14-19 years in full time education).
At the first camp in December (Loughborough University) coaches will be taught and mentored in a practical and theoretical way by some of the top coach educators in the country. Boccia Young Coaches are mixed with young coaches from other 10 other sports along with officials and athletes. This is then followed up in July with an experience of working hands on with elite disabled boccia athletes at the biggest training camp of the year (Stoke on Trent).
